How I Got Here
I didn’t always do this work. I started in the entertainment industry as a makeup artist, playing with external transformation before realizing I was meant for deep soul-level metamorphosis. I pivoted into education, guiding students as a Service Learning Coordinator, Student Advisor, and DEIB practitioner—but something still felt incomplete.
Then, in 2013, my real awakening hit like lightning at the Diversity Leadership Institute. I started deeply processing my multiracial identity and ancestral lineage, and the truth shook me to my core. By 2018, a profound energetic clearing of intergenerational trauma shattered everything I thought I knew about myself. It was painful. It was freeing. And it completely reoriented my purpose.
So, I built the spaces I wished existed. I launched Womxn of Color Healing Circles at WMN Space in Culver City—one of the first spaces created specifically for women of color’s well-being. I created High Priestess of the Heart, a 9-month initiation for coaches, healers, and holistic leaders. I designed The Astro-Ancestral Healing Collective, a membership space where cycle breakers transform their wounds into spiritual gifts through astrology and embodied pleasure.
And because I love talking about lineage healing, astrological wisdom, and powerful stories of pattern breakers, I launched The Cycle Starters Podcast on YouTube.
Who I Am
I am a Diasporic Blackapinx settler on unceded Tongva/Chumash territory (Venice, CA). My ancestral roots span the Visayan islands (Leyte, Samar, & Panay) in the Philippines, West Africa (Nigeria, Senegal, Mali, and Ghana), and the British Isles. My devotion? Healing my ancestral lines and reclaiming my indigenous spiritual traditions with humility and reverence.
I’ve got the receipts—a degree from Brown University, training from the Diversity Leadership Institute & National Diversity Practitioners Institute, and experience leading DEIB trainings for the Orange Country Transportation Authority (OCTA), The People of Color Conference, and The Tantric Institute of Integrated Sexuality. Since 2018, I’ve also been involved with Liberation Spring, a grassroots adult freedom school focused on decolonization. And, in 2020 I became a certified Life Path Astrology™ Reader.
