Wedding Bells and Digital Nomads
I’m writing this newsletter on my flight from Miami to my new home, Los Angeles, and I couldn’t be more excited to start this next chapter of my life.
I’ve had an amazing several days in Florida with my biz besties, Lexi, Lauren, Joanna, Erika, and Mel. On Sunday, I explored Delray Beach and did a bit of writing before attending Erika's wedding in Boca Raton. It was a beautiful celebration in one of the most romantic venues I’ve ever seen, “The Addison”. I was so incredibly honored to be a part of this huge moment in my friend’s life.
On Monday, Lexi, Lauren, Joanna, and I had lunch with the newlyweds and then made our way down to South Beach. We checked into the newly renovated “Nautilus” hotel on Collins Avenue and were not disappointed. My guess is that we will be back and may even try to hold an event there.
On Monday evening, we co-hosted a meet-up for entrepreneurs that Joanna organized at STK on the property of 1 Hotel. It was well attended and we met lots of interesting people. STK was a terrific venue and had a very helpful staff supporting us.
I love traveling with these lady bosses! We got so much work done and were able to enjoy the sun, beach, pool and delicious Miami cuisine. Last night we returned to Cecconi’s (we first went there with Erika for her bachelorette party three weeks ago) for the best Italian food we’ve had since our trip to Florence in October.
It’s been quite a week and the excitement is not over! I’ll need to buy a car shortly after I arrive in California and begin to look for a place to live. Thank goodness for AirBnB and Uber - I’ll be using both of their services to hold me over until I find something more permanent.
So, needless to say, there is a lot going on. Remarkably though, I feel very relaxed about it all. This move back to the West Coast has been a long time coming and I trust that the universe will support me every step of the way. I set my intentions to re-locate in July of 2015, have been visualizing my new life in LA since then, and have kept my vibration high.
Have you made any progress on manifesting your desires for 2016? If not, what is the one thing you can do this week to get one step closer to all that you want to create this year?
Remember, your desires are the universe showing you what is meant for you. Don’t make yourself wrong for having them. When a woman goes after her desires, she lifts up everyone around her.
Thanks again for your patience as I navigate running my business and making this move. I’m working on some very exciting projects that I can’t wait to share with you, so stay tuned...
Have a great weekend!
With love and gratitude,
