Wedding Bells and Baby Bumps

Hey there, gorgeous!

About a week ago, I had the enormous honor and privilege to witness one of my best friends, Laura, exchange marriage vows with her one true love, Eduardo.

The ceremony was quick, sweet, and very romantic, taking place at the Montgomery County courthouse. I always cry at weddings and this one was especially moving!

We then celebrated at Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, surrounded by the amazingly gorgeous Autumn foliage. The weather was absolutely perfect and everyone had a wonderful time.

Of course, since my best friend is pregnant, she was enjoying sparkling cider instead of wine. Her baby bump popped about week before the ceremony - she was gorgeous and glowing! I’ve never seen her happier!

It’s hard to imagine that only a few years ago, the two of us were commiserating about how bad the dating scene was in Los Angeles.

We were single and always ready to mingle, but kept attracting men into our lives that affirmed our belief that all men in LA were shallow a**-holes who only wanted to date models.

My favorite quote from that era of our lives was that “we would have better luck meeting a high-quality man at a trash dump than in LA.” We were soooo jaded.

Fast forward to the end of 2016 and now we’re both in the best relationships of our lives.

The truth is that back then, when we were club hopping every weekend in LA, we weren’t ready for the love we craved.

Each of us had our own self-limiting beliefs and emotional blocks to move through. We had to grow and develop into the women we needed to be in order to attract these long term, committed love relationships.

Since then, we moved back to the DC area, did a TON of work on ourselves (personal development) and have become bad-ass women entrepreneurs.

On top of starting our businesses, I’m now back in LA, living in Venice and in the relationship of my dreams, while Laura is beginning her new life as a wife and mother.

So, if you’re not experiencing the joy and happiness you crave and DESERVE in your love/sex life - take heart. Everything happens at the perfect time and in the perfect way.

It all works out if you are WILLING to do the work!

All my love and gratitude,

Heather xoxo
